We were contacted by the Katz family in 2014. They had purchased a large older home in rural Prince George’s county with a great deal of hardscape renovation needed. A few years earlier, they had contracted with a landscape design firm to have plans drawn up for their property. We were one of several companies they contacted for hardscape quotes. They were considering pavers, slate and decorative concrete, and had to address several drainage issues as well.

After receiving the inquiry from my website, I spoke to Mrs. Katz and visited the property several times. It was a huge project and I wasn’t sure that it could come together. I didn’t hear back until a year later but was thrilled to learn that the Katz’ were ready to move forward. We took their original landscape plans and modified them to address the drainage issues. They selected a slate pattern to mimic the look & feel of their original slate patios.

The entire Maryland stamped concrete project including demolition, pouring and finishing of 2,588 square feet of decorative concrete, a fire pit, as well as drainage remediation and driveway grading took about two weeks. The end result was spectacular and the family was very pleased.
