We installed the original concrete in this area of the resort, Colonial Gardens, in 2008. It was a series of walking paths through a landscaped park, centered with a Christmas tree-styled flagpole. As it turned out, the area was not well utilized and the resort determined that a better use for this area would be to open it up for larger outdoor events. This project was the 2012 upgrade for this area overlooking the Potomac River. It involved a major elevation change with supporting walls and steps. The perimeter work included approximately 10,000 SF of stamped concrete the center entertainment area was turfed.
