Schneider Contracting Corporation is a specialty concrete construction
business, working with both residential and commercial
clients. The majority of our work is concrete stamping
and texturing for patios, pool decks, driveways, walkways
and building entrances. We also work with exposed aggregates
and finely broomed finishes, most of which are combined
with other decorative concrete components. To a lesser
extent, we work with concrete stenciling, acid staining
and polymer overlays on existing concrete.
We are licensed to work in all local jurisdictions. This
licensing mandates liability and workman’s compensation
insurance coverage and provides varying amounts of project
bonding to protect you. We are members of the Better Business
Bureau, and subscribe to their arbitration services if
an intractable dispute should arise. We are also members
of
the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) and
the Decorative Concrete Council (DCC). We adhere to construction
standards and details established by local practice and
the
American Concrete Institute (ACI). In the event of any
discrepancy in regards to product installation and quality,
we defer
to ACI standards and position papers of the ASCC/DCC.
Todd Schneider, the company owner/operator, holds a B.S.
degree in Construction Engineering from Louisiana Tech University
and has 17 years experience in the construction industry.
For seven years, he worked as an engineer, superintendent,
and project manager in highway and bridge construction. In
1993, he founded Schneider Contracting Corporation, the mission
of which remains to offer the highest quality workmanship
in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and the highest
level of professionalism found anywhere in this industry.
